The agentic OS: an operating system that understands what you want to do and does it. The butler, without the hologram.
Today, AI is one application among others: a tab, a window, a session you open and throw away. Each tool has its assistant, none has the full picture, and everything is forgotten when you close it.
The question Vor asks: what happens when intelligence is no longer an application on the system, but a property of the system? A presence that knows your files, your tools and your habits, that acts on your request across the whole machine, and that has continuity: today's Vor remembers what you entrusted to it yesterday.
Because a butler who does not hold the keys to the house is just a receptionist. To truly act (open, tidy, monitor, automate), you have to be at the root of the system, not a guest in a sandbox. And because that level of access demands an absolute counterpart: that everything runs on your machine, under your keys. A cloud agentic OS would be a surveillance camera with a smile. That is precisely what Vor refuses to be.
Vor is in its foundations phase: the architecture is settled, and the project builds on what already exists at Scarlet Wolf, starting with the core of Gungnir running in production. No date, no video teaser: when there is something to show, there will be something to try.
Vor is built on Gungnir. Adopting Gungnir today already lays the first stone on your machine.
